Parkside Grand Parkway: New Multifamily Housing Coming to Katy
In partnership with Desarrollos Delta of Monterrey, Mexico, Austin-based developer Oden Hughes LLC has begun construction on a 354-unit Class A, multifamily community in Katy, Texas.
Parkside Grand Parkway is a 14-acre project located at the southwest corner of Katy Fort Bend Road and Grand Parkway near Interstate 10, immediately west of the Energy Corridor.
Floor plans from 625 to 1,400 sf
The development will offer one, two and three-bedroom floor plans ranging in size from 625 to 1,400 square feet, with monthly rental prices from $850 to $1,655. Located within the Katy Independent School District (KISD), Parkside Grand Parkway will feature a number of community amenities, including two resort-style pools, an air-conditioned dog-washing station, an outdoor cooking and dining area, and a fitness center.
Oden Hughes is the project’s general contractor, with architectural services provided by Kelly Grossman and Jones & Carter Inc. as the engineer.

According to David Marshall of ARA Real Estate Investment Services in Houston, excellent schools and tremendous employment growth along the Energy Corridor have made Katy one of the fastest growing communities in the Houston area, with approximately 6 million square feet of office space currently planned or under construction.
Mid-2014 is the anticipated opening for Parkside Grand Parkway. The cost of the project has not been disclosed.
